“In abuse, the goal is to control a person. In torture, the intentionality is to destroy the sense of self of the person.” This is dissociation. “We know that soldiers who’ve endured torture, even if they didn’t dissociate as children, they’ll become dissociative as adults.”
– Linda MacDonald, http://nonstatetorture.org

Dearest and most Appreciated Women, As we’ve said before, our GRATITUDE for all your COURAGEOUS efforts/successes is ineffable! We want, more than anything, is to “pay forward” any/all the hope, strength, and transformations our experiences might make should we share them with others. Presently, however, (this too may be helpful?), I am as ineffectual as a stuffed toy monkey, by dint of what we believe was a “program.” Still unable to pinpoint why/what/where or when it reclaimed from us our productivity, capabilities, effectuality–our self-nesses, our volition, our health, and our selves-confidence and esteem–we know only that it’s been over a year since the decline began. Have you ever heard of a “self-destruct” program? Or how to remove it? Before this, we survived breast-cancer, soberly–I am an alcoholic (still sober). I’ve lost several friends. And, my partner, also a NST victim, committed suicide 29 July 2014.
Of course, there’s always more, but, as they say, “it’s life on life’s terms.”
We must move forward! If you guys have/know any resources about this particular subject, please contact me. THANK YOU, sundidflwr@gmail.com
