Play is extremely important in both resilience and self care for anyone, including trauma survivors. Whether you’re burning out, stuck in a rut, feel bored or just want to let loose, it’s always a good time to evaluate our play repertoire. Is it diverse? Do you really feel free to just be yourself? If you need ideas or don’t know what to do, it might be a good idea to look at how you’re playing and see if there’s anything worth adding.
