Secrets Shared – Survivor Poetry

Secrets Shared

On road to recovery
Path detoured
Abuser not wanting secrets out
lost while seeking
oh so alone
nobody to turn to
or so we had thought
Healing found
years later
abusers
no longer
able to hurt
me
